Combined Group Contracting Company (KSCC) was first conceived in Kuwait when two brothers, Ahmed and Abdulrahman Al-Marouf joined forces with Suleiman Abdullatif Al-Hamad in 1965.
The company started out with an emphasis on earthmoving and construction related transportation equipment and services. With the success of their activities, the company quickly began branching out into contracting and construction taking, initially, subcontracting work from well established companies. From that moment on, the company and its owners never looked back.
The subcontractors soon became main contractors and, soon thereafter, began climbing the classifications ladder in all of its chosen fields of activity. With First Category classifications in Civil and Construction works and in Outside Services (Roads and Infrastructure), and with similar classifications in the oil sector with companies such as Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) and the Joint Operations, Combined Group Contracting Company has become a leading force in the Kuwaiti contracting industry.
The company has established ties with the major local banks operating in Kuwait (National Bank of Kuwait, Burqan Bank, Commercial Bank, etc.) thereby boosting it's financial capabilities to carry out major projects. The company also established cooperative ties with the local and regional suppliers / subcontractors serving its projects.
CGC currently employs over 4000 people in Kuwait.
