The backbone of a contracting company is its central shared services, or, its Services Centers.
These Services Centers can comprise of many different products and services whose primary function is to support the company's operating departments. They can vary in content from company to company and from location to location. They can include anything from central equipment fleet management to wood workshops, depending on the nature of the projects undertaken by the operating departments.
In every established country of operation, CGC erects services centers to support its business units, and, eventually, to become a business unit in its own right by bringing its products and services to third parties in the market.
