An expert was appointed to settle an account and rule

on the results of the expert report for the financial

claim for electrical works, along with settling an

account in the Fifth Ring Road Intersections Project,

Contract No هـ ط/210, in addition to the value of thefinal payment.

First instance ruling: Obligating the Ministry of

Works to pay an amount of KD 1,206,935,142 and

rejected other requests.

Pronounced appeal ruling: accept the two appeals

in form and reject them in substance, upholding the

appealed ruling, exempting the administrative

authority from its appeal expenses, obligating the

company appealing the first appeal to pay its appeal

expenses, and ordering a set-off between them

regarding compensation for attorney's fees.
